The brow mascara from Yves Saint Laurent worked brilliant for me for a long time. First of all, what I can say about it is that it comes with a very convenient spoolie that reaches even tiny brow hairs. The formula with special fibers boosts volume while the semi-matte pigments add definition to the eyebrows. This brow mascara gives an interesting 3D effect, which of course I really enjoy. The only thing I don’t like is the price. That’s why I’m glad that thanks to the Nanobrow mascara, I can get the same sensational effect of fuller and defined eyebrows for a much cheaper price.

Another brow mascara in my ranking is an interesting choice by Dior. I like it mainly because it is made of 90% naturally derived ingredients and combined makeup with brow care. But that’s basically the end of its benefits because I find that the waterproof formula doesn’t quite work on the eyebrows – it makes this eyebrow mascara quite heavy and doesn’t allow it to create a very elegant effect. Another brow mascara in my ranking is an interesting choice by Dior. I like it mainly because it is made of 90% naturally derived ingredients and combined makeup with brow care. It seems that it would work better for a big night out than for everyday wear. All because the formula is further enriched with microfibers that cling to brow hairs, adding volume and definition. Unfortunately, this is not a cheap eyebrow mascara and is certainly not an option for anyone who does not like to overpay for their beauty products.

I’ll be honest, I’ve read a lot about it on the net and it seems like you either love it or hate it, as Benefit cosmetics have it in common that they give a rather strong and often very bold makeup effects. The thick spoolie scoops up a large amount of the mascara making it possible to… hmmm… easily overdo your brow makeup. I was unsure of buying the full version of the mascara right away so I’m very glad that there’s also a tiny brow mascara to choose from. I’ll honestly admit that this mascara doesn’t look very impressive on my eyebrows or I maybe I don’t fully know how to use it properly. Immediately after the application, my brow hairs got that sticky finish I don’t like and I had to brush through them with a spoolie. And, of course, the whole brow makeup took forever. If you have had the opportunity to try this eyebrow mascara, please let me know whether it produced similar results in your case and what you think of it. From what I have noticed, many people feel very enthusiastic about it though.

I’m very fond of Lancome cosmetics so I had high hopes for their brow mascara as it looked very interesting: this unique teardrop-shaped spoolie really looked promising. And indeed, the mascara works lovely when it comes to shaping the brows properly and giving them a nice, neat, and sculpted look. But unfortunately, this type of brush doesn’t do a good job of building volume or filling in gaps in the eyebrows. If I ever create a ranking of the best brow-styling gels, I might include this mascara there as it’s closer to a setting gel than a volumizing brow mascara. I was a little sad that I spent so much money on a product that works differently than I expected.

The mascara does quite a good job in this regard but I think not everyone will like the slightly unnatural and glossy effect on the eyebrows. Also, I noticed that this eyebrow mascara changed its formula significantly after using it for over a month and I don’t know if it is just my case or if it is normal that after a few weeks, this mascara started to stick my brow hairs together a bit too much. What’s cool about it though is that it comes with a precise mini-brush, which can be used to ally the mascara on the eyebrows quite comfortably.

To clarify, I’ll also add that I used a lot more different products of this type, but unfortunately, not all of them deserved to make it to the ranking in my view. I think that the overall ratings and reviews of each of these products seem very interesting: it turns out that, of course, the iconic eyebrow mascaras from world-famous brands feature good quality and ensure good makeup effects but you don’t have to spend a lot of money to get a really good brow mascara. The wonderful Nanobrow Shape Mascara remains my undoubted favorite. I highly recommend this brow mascara to you. It ensures great quality for a really good price and it ensures lovely and long-wear makeup effects. What I really like about it is that I can add an extra coat of this mascara if feel like it to build up even more volume, for example, for a big night out.
